Monthly fee sites Vs Buy-in

I am interested in possibly playing at a few sites that are based on monthly fees vs buy in tourneys and was wondering what everyone though about monthly fee sites?

Also can you list some that you are members of and that you have seen profit from

US friendly only please.

There was a thread on Pure Play recently, use the search feature to read it. I don't know others there are, I think its ludicrous. I'd rather just play fakemoney on stars.

Monthly fee sites are A) stupid and B) over run with donks. Much better off playing freerolls at reputable sites.

Thanks for the advice. I don't want to throw my money itno something that is not going to turn a profit. I will still be checking this thread so if anyone has a positive side to this please let me know.
