I play pokerstars and Full tilt. I ve won a 1st and alot of places on full tilt freerolls. The field is much smaller 2700ppl at full tilt but they fill fast there.I just won a entry at pokerstars freeroll with a huge filed of people.

Poker pokerstars is a tough one to crack but if you have skills, patience and luck it is possible. Some people say freeroll play is second rate but its free and you face crazy oppostion and it takes disicpline to ride out the waves. Hi,
i play mostly on full tilt and lately ive been trying out a new site SpadeClub - The New Way to Win!. Spadeclub.com has daily freerolls which only have a few hundred people in them. Im not to sure about how easy it is to withdraw your winnings if/when you win because i havent had great success yet. I find that Full Tilt freerolls have fairly poor play during the early stages when the tourny starts with 2700 people(max).. alot of people going all in.. but if you can survive until the later stages of the tourny the level of play gets much better hope this helps out |

I am a beginner too and mainly play freerolls. I've cashed once in the bodog 1,000 freeroll (9:40pm EST).
Cashed once at Spadeclub, and once at Poker Stars. I've played in two live tournies too, and find that the play on Spade Club is closest to live play. Good luck! |

Just some views on what freerolls you might wanna played at the rooms you've listed.
Bodog $500 and $1k freeroll - nice payout, field is comparatively small at the 4am EST $500 freeroll. CC freeroll on FT - another freeroll you would wanna play PokerStars freerolls - kinda hard to crack as you need to get thru the first round of donkfest, if you did managed to get a ticket to Round 2, the money is good if u're able to make it to Top 3. If you do play other games instead of just NLHE, i would suggest you play the HORSE, Stud or Razz freerolls to get the ticket to Round 2, i feel that its easier win the Round 2 ticket in these freerolls. I qualified a few times thru HORSE & Stud Hi, only once thru NLHE. hope this helps. ![]() |

I mainly play Ultimate Bet, Pokerstars, and some FullTilt.
As everybody has mentioned before me, it's a matter of surviving the donkeys in the first few rounds before you get into good poker. I would say, as far as skills go, UltimateBet (although I only recently began playing it) probably has the more players of difficult skill levels. I've only cashed a few times via pokerstars, and never bothered too much with FullTilt. |

Wow. That's exactly what I've never been able to put into words. Exactly what Toymaker said, you have to be patient to let the donks either knock themselves out or get enough chips to play seriously.

most all freerolls are a circus, they will play and call anything and suck out,, there are however ways of avoiding that,, take your time and Only play premium hands, if you can make it past the second break then most of the idiots are gone and the play gets better, it takes a lot of patience, but it can be done,, gl in your next FR, buck

Althought poker is a skill game, it is also a form of gambling. You're still at the mercy of the cards. Furthermore, suck outs are kinda like give and take, u give some, u take some, its only fair this way.

Full tilt only pays out the top 27 places so you can play for 3 hours and still get nothing. At Stars you gotta get through round 1 (which I never have) and then get into the stage 2. Both Party Poker and Full Tilt have special country or Regional freerolls now with good payouts. One site worth a good look is Pacific 888. The freerolls are hi-speed so your not playing for hours before getting in the money and once you get that account growing they have a lot of small buy-in tournies with min prize pools or cash added (my early favourite was a 10c tourney with prize pool $88). Ultimate and Absolute are good because their freerolls are basically every hour. Oh, and have a look at Pitbull, they have $25 freerolls every hour on the half hour. Not deep payouts but fields are not nearly as large as at other sites. Good luck.

i play at spadeclub. i bought a year membership and already won the $ back. i think the skill level is much higher than most freeroll sites because people don't go all in the first 5 mins, they actually care.
I cashed out and got a check within a week. |

Try carbon poker. New players get to play in 50 dollar free rolls for 30 days after signing up. The free rolls only have about 600 to 700 people and the run 4 times daily. They are speed free rolls and dont take as long as the full tilt free rolls(which are the slowest moving blinds in the world). They only pay the top ten. But you get at least a dollar and you can play tournaments on there for a little as 6 cents.

I play in Fulltilt because only 2700 hundred and when the break hits only a 1000 or less are remaining after that is a pretty solid poker top 27 get paid. 10-27 $2 and 1 wins $15. I personally love them at the beginning the key is pacience and after is you playing solid. I have won nice money in them (especially because I have been playing there since this year) and my best finish was 4th which ment $7 in my bankroll

The 'Level of poker on Freeroll torunaments' is (for the most players) same as a slot-machine ... call everything with every hand ... as you like and feel free ...
In my opinion there is no level at a freeroll at all. The essential question is: What do you have to loose in a freeroll ? Simple answer: Nothing ! When you have nothing to loose, you can play as you like without bothering the consequences (there aren't any) ... |
