Iron Man Challenge

I was thinking about focusing on the IMC this month on Full Tilt. I'm not quite sure I understand all of the rules. I've been reading the pages this morning--can anyone lay it out for this idiot.....Is there a certain amount of points you need to earn each day? Or is it just an amount by the end of the month?

Also, I play strictly SNGs and MTT's, and haven't played rings since last summer, so I understand I might have to move back to ring games.

There are four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Iron.
You earn them by getting a certain number of points for a certain number of days according to this cart:

In other words, if you earn 50 points for 20 days you get bronze. But if you earn 200 points for 14 you get nothing. So, no, you can't just use a cumulative total.

You will certainly have to play ring games.
I calculate the $75 will take about 650 hands per day (for 10 days) at $10NL.

I'm actually working on doing an Iron Man at Full Tilt this month. You can clear the 200 points at 3-6 limit / 4 table in about an hour a day which isn't bad at all.

From what I can see the player benefits are actually a bit better at PokerStars than FullTilt even with the IronMan thing, OTOH you get a like mini medal on your avatar with your Bronze/Silver/Gold/Iron rating.

It's 'around' an hour. It might be 10-15 minutes more or less. There aren't a lot of huge pots happening to get the full 3 points from a hand and a lot of times the blinds fold down to a raise which means no points are awarded that hand either.

I've made the bronze and silver before but i think it is better to scratch the free roll and go for the big buy in tickets with your medals

It also says something about needing to gain 500 points in a day?

I go for silver by getting 50 points/day at a couple of tables of $1/$2 limit in about two hours. Last month some things kept me from doing the whole 25 days, so I settled for Bronze for 20 days, same 50 points. The Silver freeroll is worth about $30 entry fee, so I have opted for the freerolls. You still get medals for making a level, and I am going to use mine for more store points to get Harrington 3.

The 500 points/day is some super level thing that is obviously way above what I am earning now. Gives you mega medals.

It's 200 points a day for 25 days for Iron. They also have additional points levels to get bonus medals (500, 1000, 1500 and 2000 points on a day) that apply to any specific days you accomplish the task.

I'm going to go for the IMC this month on Full Tilt. I have built my bankroll playing SnGs, now at the $22 limit 6 handed, with a 1500 bankroll. With these, how difficult will it be for me to make 200 pts a day playing only one table of $50 max along with it? Basically, I'd rather stick to where I'm making money and only earn maybe silver status than change my game to try to make iron. Any suggestions? (I am strictly a NLHE player)

Also..question: How exactly do you gain Full Tilt Points? I know that you get 7 points for every tournament dollar fee, so for the $20 +$2 SNGS you get 14 points for each game, but how do the points work in ring?

I think the freeroll is usually the 2nd Sat of the following month. It will show up in your 'registered in tournaments' in a few days.
