Gunning for £1000

Right we are then.

Currently after getting my head down and playing some good poker this month I have managed to get up to £855 total poker profit. Going to see if I can hit £1000 by 2005.

Impressive Grum, I'm sure you can hit £1000 if you spend some time on it, use your own advice, keep folding until the nuts come around then go for it! That's gotta happen twice in a game of say 3 hours.

I could never make a $1000 profit, I might some day, but now where I am at right now in the game.

Well no one was on the normal 2/4 tables on willhill so i went back to the 1/2 boy wish i hadn't. Suck out city, got back to just over evens and left, I can't handle lowest common denominator poker now.

Also thought I would try my luck in another tournament £1500 guarenteed, 150 starters and came 85th when my AJ paired the J on board for top pair, big pot so went all in only to get called by AA

In hindsight I maybe was a bit foolish to play that pot inthe first place but I only lost £11 on the entry so I am just going to chalk it up to experience and be glad it wasn't a more expensive lesson.
