got skipped by the blinds on stars?

am i retarded and missing something completely or is this weird?

at same table. one hand i was UTG and the very next hand i was the button. blinds skipped me entirely. pretty sure this isn't supposed to happen? the guy to my right got knocked out, so he wouldn't be small blind, but isn't that a situation where they're just supposed to make me the only blind? can't recall this ever happening to me before

Yep weird pokerstars rule.

The first time I ever had a major cash, the same thing happened. $5 turbo and i was about to get blinded out, when i magically get the button and AA with 2 calls. I quadruple up and get second for 900. Just try argueing your case in a live game

Is that a weird rule? Its just the movement of the button and 2 in a row got kicked. What should happen? Button stays and you're the sb only miss bb? Can't move it back any further.

i think what should happen is i pay only the BB and there's no SB for the following hand because the guy who it would have been got KOd. that's how full tilt does it i believe

The general rule of thumb in a live game is that you can miss you small blind but not your big blind. Its the same on almost every poker site except from stars, but then again Stars is special.

Yes, it's a Stars thing. If it were Full Tilt, the button would have moved to the first empty chair and Comby would have been the BB. Next hand, button would have moved to the next empty chair and Comby would have been the SB.

maybe the whoever was to your right had just gotten moved to the table (first hand you play at your new table can not be on the button)?
