Full Tilt Points
I have about 1500 points. What is the best thing to use them on? Are satellites basically the only thing?

If you play the token satellites you can use the tokens to buy into cash equivalent tourneys. But if you satellite directly into a tourney you'll have to play 'cause FTP won't (usually) let you unregister. Not in any profitable way, at least. No tourney dollars there yet.

I have close to 120,000 full tilt points which I'm saving up for the 52 inch tv. its taken some time though

its not infinity points, although it seems like it. I think the tv on full tilt store runs 200,000 points now, but i know they raised the cost. Good news is i at least qualify for a new laptop.
