I tried doyle's site and it is open to US players again, however it is not the same as it used to be. It seems to be alright to me though.

Haven't tried them and won't. Any site that shut out US players for ANY reason, can now kiss my ass when they reopen to us.

so ? the site has a right to make money off of you. Im sure if you deposit and then win from a freeroll, they would allow you to withdraw. Unless im wrong?

Online poker isn't legal in those states listed. And according to DR's customer service, players from those states aren't *supposed* to be able to create an account at all. Anybody from the 11 might want to read the fine print really, really well. Hope this helps.

roflmao , you work for them or just that naive , they screwed us over , we don't love them anymore. we don't want them back. done . over .history .

many of these sites dumped us even before the new law even took effect , I am bitter and angry and wrote them all many emails telling them what I thought of their decision , they are cowards and do not deserve the millions of dollars they were making. I'll continue to support those that stuck it out and supported us.

I agree with many others. No support before, no cash now. From what I've read, it no longer has anything to do with Doyle anyway, all they did was buy the name.

Good to know, I was actually looking at the site, just yesterday.

Perhaps that is why I can't down load pokerstars.
Thanks

I don't like the new software. It has very few options and doesn't seem designed for multi table play

Wrong tact JD though I share that sentiment.

I suggest that any site returning to the US after their chicken shit departure will have to really really really REALLY attempt to convince me to even try their site.

I just downloaded DR and here's what I found:

So-called "freerolls" require at least one raked hand to register. Additional starting chips are given depending on the number of raked hands you've played in the past 24 hours. So that's "free"?

Their "bad beat" jackpot pays 70% to the table with the remaining 30% allocated to the next bad beat jackpot LESS "administrative fees" (I guess they aren't making enough money off the exhorbitant rake for bad beat tables.

Sooo, if that's the "competetive edge" you're looking for to attract us filthy rich Americans back...well, you decide!

Gotta go now...I'm off to Control Panel and "delete programs"!

I looked around, but havn't registered yet. Looked like a good potential site. However, I haven't been able to play much poker lately, beacuse I am a tad tilted.
Cheers
