Carbon crazy chat at final table

Let me say I am absolutely by no means a "rigged" believer at all.

But at the final table of a 150 person tourney (so these players are at least decent), 3 of the 6 at my table were chatting about how the site is definitely rigged and they know that Carbon is set up to produce action and what not. LOL.

Dumb right? I just want to make sure that this isn't something real i've missed since black friday took the wind out of my sails and I stopped coming on CC as much.

Just because someone is at the final table of a 150 person tourney by no means makes them a decent player. I'm guessing it was still under a $10 buyin, and they are more than likely the same idiots that are in the freerolls complaining about how their bad plays are the sites' fault.

I watched a final table of a $1.10 + R yesterday (with over 4000 runners and $30K guarenteed) and someone raised 67s UTG+1 and stacked off with it 1st hand onto the table (they were average stack), I think your massively overestimating skill of people who reach FT.

Also what advantage would it be to the cardroom to encourage action in a tourney where the rake had already been paid?

A lot of players from Carbon have this insane idea that it's rigged - there are a lot of bad beats there, I agree, i've lost a lot with over 90% chance to win the hand postflop but it's imposible to be rigged - maybe the software is a little different from other poker sites but it doesn't help one or the other - you just have to accept it. It's POKER - you'll always have bad beats, donkeys, poore losers and sometimes a little luck

It is funny that since Black Friday all I hear about is how Carbon sucks and is rigged, but before that it was PS and FT.
I just cannot get over the number of people who think the game is rigged, but yet still continue to play.

Yeah, I have to agree there could be something rigged about carbon poker because I've been bad beat multiple times on the client. But, at the end of the day it's poker... and things like that happen in poker, so no one can really argue with that.

Unless you play HORSE, where all great razz hands come after the change to 7Stud,,,,, and no low O8 hand will even happen in the first orbit of the horse.........

Carbon is like most, only with a lot more donks. My biggest gripe is no rewards for lower end players.

AP used to have some great chat back in 2005-06. Crazy kinky stuff. There was a great brother/sister fight one time about stealing snacks from their parents' house for the grandkids, with Boston accents no less. I remember one drunk British guy who kept calling everyone a "muppet". Ah, the good ol days.

LMAO - I'm a believer.

Can't tell you how many times I've thought exactly the same thing. but you have to add: all the great stud hands come during razz after the third round.

Couldn't agree more.... I've heard this so many times on the tables / on forums / private chat ...etc...... I always say the same thing ...Why should a pokersite want to rig tournament hands when they have already had their rake and don't give a toss who wins?
