Bodog Gave Me $10

Ok, so this afternoon I got an email from Bodog and they gave me $10 in casino chips, so I went to their website and from what I could tell I had to play $200 before I could cash out or move it whatever.

So I sat at the BlackJack table and made it up to $40, at that point I shouldve checked the status of the bonus, but I thought I needed to play 200 $1 blackjack hands and continued playing. Of course, I kept going back and forth but never got back to $40. When I was back down to a little over $20 I figured I might be close to clearing the bonus, and sure enough I was. Really wish I had checked at $40, does anybody know?

I now have $22.50 in my Bodog eCash account, I figure I am going to put it on my poker account, which I assume is possible, and go from there. But, are there any decent games on Bodog for such a small BR? I really don't need to start a BR on another site, have 2 sites with enough money to play on already, and I am broke and jobless atm. Should I just take the $20 out and by myself acouple pints, lol, or is Bodog a good site where I should try to make it grow?

The lowest stakes at Bodog are .05/.10 and the lowest single table SNG is 2.00 +.20.

Yea thanks WarEagle. Been trying to get the hang of navigating Bodogs site, they don't have a filter anywhere? Not much of a cash game person, but these $2.20 Beginner SnGs look interesting to me, maybe I can build my BR up to a point where I can put BRM into practice.

when you go in the sng area just click the buyin area and it will put them from highest to lowest or click it again and lowest to highest...they also have a few freeroll tourneys each day...some for player points...

Ah yes thanks swissarmy, I guess Bodog just doesn't have nearly as many games at each level. When I sorted by buyin and only saw 1 $1.20 and 2 $2.20 SnGs I thought it was just messed up, guess not.

the 2+.2 sng's are pretty weak so they're not a bad idea with 20 bucks cause top 4 make money 5th gets his money back. like what was said by someone else, they have a couple freerolls a day, wouldn't hurt to play in those...good way to sit in a game for a couple hours and get yourself a couple poker points for your trouble.

I took the $10 bucks and tried to make a quick run at the craps table.....I did ok for about 5 minutes hitting a couple numbers, but then I missed an important bet that would have built me up nicely..then 10 minutes later I crapped out

Well I played blackjack, then noticed the cashout button to late. Lost the whole $10 didn't know I could of cash out instanly.

DJ11, yea I played a whole bunch of blackjack, and ended up doubling it.

5tr8 flush I don't think you could cash out right away, when I checked it the $10 was in the casino part and $0 was withdrawable, it said something about $200 underneath. So I figured I had to play that much money in the casino before cashing the $10 out.

Ted80, yea it was just a random hookup, hadn't played on there site in a while. I had only ever played maybe 2 freerolls that I got in from a different poker site.

Does anybody actually read threads anymore before posting? I already used it in the casino, made it up to $40 and by the time I checked whether it was withdrawable yet I was down to $22.50. The money is already in my Bodog eCash account, which is your poker money.

Question, I just read this from another thread "but if you want to withdraw first you have to deposit" about Bodog, so I couldn't cash out if I wanted to until I deposit? If this is true I will be playing way out of my BR, no point in grinding away for nothing. A decent cash and depositing would be worth it.

Naw, they have a 20x requirement to cash out...so you have to make $200 worth of bets before you are eligible to cash out.

So I really played 200 hands of Black Jack, damn. Definitely got pretty lucky I would say.

I got that months back when my BR was getting VERY low. It was my lucky day because I hit four dueces in dueces wild for $120 . Lost half for the same reason you did, didn't think I could transfer it. But it was a big help and has kept me on the site with only my initial deposit.

Bodog once gave me $5, I was up to $40 in Blackjack, but lost it down to under $1. Then I hit the jackpot in bingo. $165!!! I tried to cash out $100, after sending valid id, birth certificate, and proof of address they ban my account. I was then contacted3 months later and was permitted to open a new account, but never got my money.

I scanned through the threads and tried to get most of what was said. Refering to you first thread about the poker on bodog. 20 bucks is plenty to start with there are the beginner sngs as stated that pay 5. I play these all the time and the majority of people that play there are terrible. Granted it takes well over and hour to even make the money. So it kinda depends on how much time you have on your hands.

I do believe you have to deposit to cash out which isnt that big of a deal.

So if you have some time to play low stakes then its a good site. If you want to make the money quck there are plenty of tourneys.

Suggest mtt guaranteed 10k on sundays for a 10 dollar buyin cashed in it a couple times.
