Anyone tried out Rosso poker ?

I saw it advertised on the Rounders Radio site so thought I'd give it a bash to see what freerolls they do.

They do them every hour for $30 paying out for 29 places and theres never more than 200 runners so its quite manageable. I've final tables 3 times tonight and got into the money on every tournament barring 2.

They also do larger freerolls at weekends $200 tonight..

Well worth having a look.

Its a decent site, the graphics arent anything special but quite satisfactory. And the play is fast..

Go get some relatively easy money..

im signed up for a 50$ and 200$ freeroll right now, the 50$ is easy but its 6handed which is weird plu the cards and softwrae are almostidentcle to PS

Like ZPotHole said it is really laggy, I wouldnt recomend a deposit, try the freerolls, have fun

yup been playing there all day yesterday and im in for 200 and almost each 50 freeroll im never there the first 15 minutes so i get booted i want to play in the 600 one gl and have fun

Lot's of disconnects too, software is a little like PS, chat doesn't work, not that it matters.

The 50 freeroll is pretty easy, I went out at 40 because I kind of suck and had a big suck out on trip tens a person caught his flush on river. Definately nice to not have 4,000 players, lol

I'm also bored with the 4000 donk freerolls at Bodog. I just removed Ultimate Bet and BetUs software, and can barely stand the action at Full-Tilt. I hope the gettin' is better at Rosso!

Well there is a 600$ freeroll there today for anyone interested. It starts in about 3 1/2 hours. Only about 700 ppl now so close to a 1$ buy in...

Almost in the money in the current $50. The image block doesn't work either so u see a lot of ugly mugs. Play is real slow as most players seem to be from china bulgaria and ukraine, guess there all on dial up? lol

yeah i'm registered for it but I suspect any winnings from this one will be restricted as in the $50 they make a point of saying no restrictions, it doesn't say it in the $600. Played 2 cashed in 2, some awefull players.

But yeah I'm not sure baout the restrictions either, but tbh my goal is to not take any money off, just become a higstakes player there from freerolls since its so easy, and I'm guessing I could make a lot of money of of this new site and the new fish so thats my plan.....then once I've built it up high and the site either falls apart or becomes larger and the fish dwindle out, I'll withdraw and move it to PS

LMAO, congrats Pooffy!

As far as my maiden $600 freeroll experience went, it was aborted after going all-in with J-J about a half-hour in. I got called by 4 others (of course), but at least I was beat fair and square by a chap or gal with an A-7 of diamonds. Flopped 3 diamonds!

I look to improve on my 576th place showing in today's $1,000 freeroll at 18:00 GMT (2:00 pm ET)...Love the feel of the software at Rosso, even if it is a major bite of PokerStars. At least their tournament are presented in a straight-forward manner, not convoluted with restrictions by country or language.

I'm liking Rosso. I placed 12th in the $600 freeroll yesterday. My BR is $9.12 and started with nothing. I'll see you all in the $1000 freeroll in about 45 min.

well I didn't realize that the payout structure is so horrible, only 30 got paid in that 600$ when 1k+ played, bad bad bad structure

good for u poofy i played in the 1000, i think i might of given you my chips i was doing good but as always i get so frikin bored i just give my chips away someday I will figure iut how not to get bored and Ill be champion,lol. Oh and 50 tourny just started at rosso and i got booted gonna go reopen lol all frikin day like that it kinda sux.

Started with nothing and now have $52.

Got busted on the bubble in a $600. I went all in with KK ( very short stacked ) only to run into pocket AAs which didnt just hold up, he hit runner runner A..

I've heard some good things about their freerolls, but apparently, they have no reputable deposit or withdraw methods and it could quite possibly be a scam to get your information.

Curious, I decide to Google the phrase Rosso Poker scam. That turned up this link:

As an accountant, it makes me very wary that they faked their affiliation with the renowned auditing firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

I have won over a 100 in rosso just play ing the freerolls over the past couple weeks not nothing to qwrite home about but a good way to build a decent bankroll for nothing but a little time.
