The WSOP, in partnership with GGPoker, announced its London festival today and, although the full schedule is still pending, we know there will be 15 Circuit Ring events.

Buy-ins will range from £560 to £10,400, and there will be a £3,300 main event. The action gets underway on July 27 inside London’s JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel and the final ring event will conclude on August 13.

Super Circuit Series takes WSOP back to London

The latest Super Circuit Series will be the first major WSOP in London for 11 years. The UK capital hosted the first ever WSOP Europe (WSOPE) in 2007. The WSOPE returned to London for the next three years before the organizers took it to France in 2011.

The festival has been touring other parts of Europe ever since, but the UK has remained a poker hotspot. Last year’s EPT London main event attracted over 700 players, while GUKPT events in the capital have been thriving since the end of COVID restrictions.

With live poker as popular as ever and London known for its vibrancy, a post-WSOP Super Circuit Series in the UK capital makes sense.

Something for everyone at WSOP Super Circuit Series London

The schedule is still being pieced together, but the early press release provided a sneak peek as to what players can expect. Some of the highlights on the 2023 WSOP Super Circuit Series London schedule are:

  • £3,300 WSOP Super Circuit Series main event
  • £560 WSOP Super Circuit Series Colossus
  • £1,100 WSOP Super Circuit Series Mystery Million
  • £10,400 WSOP Super Circuit Series High Roller

More events are set to be announced in the coming weeks. GGPoker will also be hosting exclusive online poker satellites over the next few months.

Buy-ins are likely to start at less than $1. That means players around the world will have the chance to win a seat in the WSOP Super Circuit Series main event for a fraction of the buy-in.
