Gamble is a PLO Hi-Lo master. At the 2017 WSOP in Las Vegas, he won the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8-or-Better for $223,339, outlasting a field of 839 players.

On Monday, he experienced a bit of Deja vu. The Texan beat an almost identically sized field — 883 entries — to win the $600 event. This bracelet is worth $89,424 of the $449,820 prize pool. Gamble now has 11 cashes in bracelet events, including a 176th place finish in the 2016 Main Event and a 66th place finish in Saturday’s $500 Super Turbo event.

Gamble, aka “surfbum” on WSOP.com, beat “danish01” heads-up to ship the bracelet. The runner-up took home $55,283. In third place, “rainman3817,” earned $38,685.

Big-Name Pros Make the Money

Daniel Negreanu, who wagered hundreds of thousands of dollars that he’d win a bracelet this year, has yet to final table any of the first six WSOP Online Bracelet Series events. But “DNegs” does have three cashes, including a 59th-place finish for $1,304 on Monday in PLO8.

Poker coach and bracelet winner Chance “BingShui” Kornuth also cashed in Event #6. The high-stakes pro finished in 39th place for $1,754.

Mike Matusow, seeking redemption for his behavior on Sunday, cashed in 37th place for $1,754. “The Mouth” accused his opponent, Megan Milburn, of slowrolling him in the $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout event. While on live-stream, he threatened to sexually assault and beat up the player he believed slowrolled him. Following criticism for his comments from poker Twitter, he apologized to Milburn and, he claims, she accepted the apology.

WSOP Online Bracelet Series Event #6 Notable Cashes

  • Max “MaxSparrow” Pescatori (10th for $4,813)
  • Ali “sasukeuchiha” Imsirovic (26th for $2,519)
