A poker festival for women players will take place at Resorts World Las Vegas in December.
Capped by the 2022 Women in Poker Hall of Fame induction, the Women in Poker Winter Festival will feature a handful of tournaments, including the $360 WIP Championship, starting Tuesday, Dec. 13.

Cash meet-up games will take place on Friday, Dec. 16, at Resorts World, starting at 7 p.m.
Also, on Thursday, Dec. 15, two satellites into the World Poker Tour’s $1,100 Ladies Championship will be held at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. The buy-ins are not yet set.
The WPT Ladies Championship begins the next day at the Wynn, and WIP encourages attendees who are in town to watch the final table, which will be filmed for broadcast at the Luxor’s eSports Arena on Sunday, Dec. 18.
The winner of the Women in Poker Championship will receive a trophy engraved with their name.
On Saturday, Dec. 17, the Women in Poker Hall of Fame Celebration Brunch will take place at 10 a.m. That evening, the Women in Poker Hall of Fame celebration will take place. The organization is ironing out the final details as to when and where that event will happen, and promises more information soon.
Nominations are now open for the Women in Poker Hall of Fame. People have until Sept. 1, to suggest the next group of inductees.
Special packages and sponsorships available
Players don’t have to buy commemorative packages through Women in Poker to play in any of the events, but they won’t receive any of the cool swag if they plunk down their tournament entry.
There are three levels of packages available, starting at $99 with the VIP, which includes a T-shirt, a card protector, a patch, a personalized lanyard, and entry into the Hall of Fame lunch.
The other two packages ($45 and $20) don’t include the lunch. Packages must be purchased before the festival begins.
Women in Poker is also looking for businesses interested in becoming sponsors for the event.
