The six-time WSOP circuit ring winner took first place in a $600 Venetian DeepStack Championship Survivor tourney ($5,200) and followed that up by winning the annual Poker League of Nations Crystal Cup $35K GTD at Resorts World Las Vegas for a $13,775 payout. Most impressive in besting a field of 187, she knocked out every player at the final table.

(That win also gave her the Women’s Poker Association Winners Circle Award.)

Here she is on a break at the WSOP Ladies event, telling CardsChat how ladies events play differently than open-field tournaments, and what she thinks it will take to turn more women into serious poker players.
