Laplante has the credentials to teach players how to win at a high level. He has nearly $2.2 million in live tournament winnings along with some big online poker cashes. But other than being an accomplished pro, what value can he add to a saturated market of poker training sites? I’ll let the poker pro himself explain.

What is Learn Pro Poker?

Learn Pro Poker, a site founded by Laplante, is one of the newest poker training sites around. For just $25 per month, at least for the time being, you can sign-up for Ryan’s “early bird special.”This rate will only be available during his pre-launch period. No specific date has been set, however.

Learn Pro Poker currently has over 30 training videos available for members. But that number will be growing exponentially in the coming weeks. According to Laplante’s recent blog post, he will be releasing more than 10 additional videos on post-flop play in September.

Benefits of Learn Pro Poker

Ryan is certainly aware of the competition in the poker training space. With established companies such as Poker Coaching, Upswing Poker and Chip Leader Coaching, another training academy he promotes, Laplante will have some stiff competition for customers. But he also has a product that is quite valuable, and he knows it.

“I saw that there was a gap in what was offered to people wanting to study the game. You could either somewhat cheaply access a larger database of somewhat unorganized videos for a monthly fee, or you could access well structured and theory based content for a large price,” he told CardsChat News.

Laplante feels he has the solution with Learn Pro Poker.

“That’s why I made Learn Pro Poker. I wanted to offer structured content, that was based on game theory optimal (GTO) ranges and theory, and make it a price that anyone could afford,” the poker pro said.

GTO is the name of the game in high stakes poker these days, and likely well into the future. If you aren’t incorporating GTO principles into your game, chances are you’re behind the curve on the felt. But GTO is a complicated concept that requires at least some basic math skills and an interest in studying the game. That’s where Laplante feels he can be of service to the poker community.

Who Will Benefit from Laplante’s Training Videos?

Unless your name is Stephen Chidwick or Justin Bonomo, or your Hendon Mob results top $10 million, chances are you could benefit from some poker training. Laplante believes his students will benefit greatly from an established poker pro’s training.

“I made GTO content accessible to everyone and have done my best to teach it in a way in which anyone can understand and learn how to apply it in their own games. My goal is to help as many as I can achieve their goals of being better players or even playing the game professionally,” he told me.

Laplante said his content was created for “anyone who is serious about wanting to improve their game.” That could be an inexperienced player who doesn’t even know what a continuation bet is. Or, it could be a winning $5/$10 no-limit hold’em grinder who wants to make that leap to higher stakes, or anyone in between.

About the Poker Coach

CardsChat ambassador Ryan Laplante, at age 29, has already crafted himself an impressive career. With over $2.1 million in live tournament earnings, including a 2016 WSOP bracelet ($565 Pot Limit Omaha for $190,328), the Minnesota native certainly has the resume to sell himself as a poker coach.

Laplante is also a coach for Chance Kornuth’s popular Chip Leader Coaching site. He is among an elite group of pros at Chip Leader Coaching, a list that includes Kornuth, 2018 GPI Player of the Year Alex Foxen, and 2015 WSOP Main Event champion Joe McKeehen.

Ryan is an expert on game theory, a necessity to play winning poker in this day and age. He will also teach you tournament and cash game poker strategies. You can get access to Learn Pro Poker for just $25 per month if you sign-up during his pre-launch period.
