It it’s tenth season, “Poker Night in America” now has a permeant home in a 10,000-square foot private mansion in Las Vegas called “Studio 52.” In the previous nine seasons, “Poker Night in America” would film from card rooms around the country.

Even with its new format, some familiar poker stars will be part of the show. Lon McEachern, the voice of the World Series of Poker for over 20 years, will announce, joining Joey Ingram and “Aceholes” podcasters Nikki Limo and Caitlin Comeskey.

Jason Sommerville and Phil Galfond will also make appearances. Galfond is a poker pro and owner of the Run It Once online poker site, which was absorbed by Rush Street Interactive last March. Galfond joined Rush Street Interactive along with that deal, and they also own and produce “Poker Night in America.”

Robbi Jade Lew and Lily Kileto is joining Somerville and other unnamed players during Sunday’s match.

Party at the poker mansion

This version of “Poker Night in America” will not only feature poker. According to a press release, “A roster of world-class chefs, mixologists, and entertainers are also slated to be on hand to provide an elevated experience for those viewing and playing at Studio 52.”

Hey, that sound lush.

The show will also have a rotating roster of celebrity chefs to keep the players happy. First up is DJ Chef, a champion of Food Network’s “Cutthroat Kitchen.”

Todd Anderson, “Poker Night in America’s” creator, lives in the mansion and is being called the party’s host. Again, from the press release: “After nearly 20 years in the poker business, Anderson has assembled a closely guarded ‘who’s who’ guest list of players for the delight of viewers.”

He also spend the last few days assembling quite the bar for his guests on Sunday.

If that’s not enough, the “Studio 52” mansion also has a backyard wine cave, an outdoor game pavilion, and a “luxury” commentary suite.

The entire mansion is outfitted with cameras, reality-TV style, and the show promises to be different from what’s already out there.

“You never know who’s going to show up at Studio 52 but you’re sure to see some recognizable faces in a whole new light,” Anderson promised. “We’re breaking the mold for TV poker and doing things we couldn’t do in a casino setting. We are rolling out the red carpet at our Vegas mansion for these stars to give players and fans at home the feeling that they too are attending the exclusive parties.”

“Poker Night in America” streams live on YouTube and Twitch May 15, at 8 PM ET. It’s presented by Rush Street’s BetRivers. A full season is schedule.
