The poker site, represented by Daniel Negreanu, has grown in terms of popularity in recent months. A big part of that growth is due to the WSOP Online Bracelet Series the site hosted this past summer.

From July to September, the poker site hosted more than 50 gold bracelet events, including the $5,000 Main Event, which generated the largest prize pool in online poker history (over $27 million). Now, GGPoker is taking another step toward competing with the likes of Partypoker and PokerStars.

The site, which isn’t available in the US, kicked off another massive series that promises to award millions of dollars to players within a matter of days.

High Rollers Rejoice

Sunday (Nov. 8) was the first day of the brand new High Rollers series. The opening day included four events with buy-ins ranging from $1,050 to $10,300, and a total of at least $6.1 million will be handed out when those events conclude.

The series began with the $1,050 GGMasters High Roller, a No-Limit Hold’em tournament, with a $1.5 million guarantee. The day’s biggest event is the $10,300 Super MILLIONS, which features $3 million in guaranteed prize money. Pot-Limit Omaha high rollers also had an opportunity to compete in a $10,300 PLO tournament on Sunday. That event guarantees $1 million to the players.

GGPoker is giving out at least $1 million in prize money in seven of the 20 tournaments over the next eight days, including the Nov. 12 Super High Roller, a $25,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em tournament. The biggest event of the series — the Main Event — takes place Nov. 15 and costs $10,300 to enter. That single tournament will award at least $5 million.

If you’d like to get in on the action but the admission costs are a bit too high for your bankroll, GGPoker is offering a $525 No-Limit Hold’em tournament on Monday (Nov. 9), which has a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool.
