CardsChat Mini-Podcast: What Can Be Done to Improve the WSOP?

Few poker players would argue the World Series of Poker isn’t already the best poker festival in the world. But that doesn’t mean it’s perfect. The WSOP could stand to make changes big and small to better the overall experience for fans and players.

That’s what we discovered last week when the CardsChat social media team sent out a tweet asking the simple question: What is the one change you would make to improve the WSOP?

The resulting online conversation was lively, and produced a few really good ideas. But they didn’t get them all.

Making the WSOP Great(er) Again

In my latest mini-podcast, I’ll share with you three ideas that didn’t get mentioned but shouldn’t be overlooked.

No spoilers, but they include Heads-Up Twitter tournaments, the reintroduction of Main Event table talk, and a proposal for expanded food delivery options — because hey, All-American Dave is great and all, but sometimes poker players can only handle so much quinoa in the small blind.
