Bovada Now Running Massive WSOP Qualifiers and Satellites

Bovada WSOP 2014

Popular US-facing poker site Bovada is hosting qualifiers and satellite packages to put players into WSOP events this summer.

The 45th annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) is right around the corner, starting up at the end of this month. As is the norm in the online poker industry, sites are running many different promotions to help get their players into the action in Las Vegas this summer. Bovada, a site that caters action to players in the United States, is running many different promotions to get players into this year’s Main Event.

All Roads Lead to Las Vegas

The promotion actually kicked off back on April 14, it is hitting a higher gear this month, as anticipation for this year’s series is hitting a fever pitch. Players will have until June 22 to make good on any of Bovada’s many promotions, and this year are offering more ways than they have in years past.

There are two main prize packages that Bovada has put together to get players into WSOP tournaments in Las Vegas. The first is the $12,000 Main Event package, which includes the $10,000 buy-in for the WSOP Main Event, as well as $2,000 for travel expenses. The other is a $3,000 Vegas Prize Package, which includes a buy-in to the $1,111 Little One for One Drop tournament, and $1,889 for travel expenses.

Ways to Win the $12,000 Package

Bovada will be hosting thousands of daily qualifiers that are as low as $0.55 to secure a spot in one of the official satellite tournaments, up until June 8 this year. Players do not have to play in a qualifier and can simply buy their way directly into one of the two major satellite tournaments for $500.

The two satellite events will take place on May 26 and June 8. Each will guarantee six of the coveted $12,000 Main Event Packages. Bovada has already stated in the fine print of their promotions page that any surplus in the prize pool of any particular Main Event Satellite will mean further cash prizes will be distributed to lower-ranked players in $5,000 increments. As mentioned before, the prize package contains the buy-in to the event and $2,000 for travel. In addition to this, Bovada will throw in some free swag, as well as an invitation to an exclusive party.

Other Ways to Win

Players looking for a very easy and free way to win can simply like Bovada’s Facebook page as a means of entering in to win a $3,000 Vegas Prize Package, which will continue through June 8. The site is also holding a Zone Poker promotion to allow players a chance to win one of the same $3,000 packages. This promotion is running every day from June 9 through June 22, with players receiving one entry to the prize draw for every 10 Zone Poker Points earned during a day. Every one of those days, five players will each win $100 as part of the promotion.

About Bovada

Bovada boasts the most traffic out of any site that does business in the United States, with 24-hour peak traffic reaching approximately 3,050 real money ring game players. The site has a 7-day average of about 1,500 cash game players, which doesn’t take into consideration the site’s robust population of tournament players. CardsChat players can get a 100 percent welcome bonus up to $1,000 and access to exclusive freerolls if they are not already members of the popular site.

This Year’s 45th WSOP Series

The World Series of Poker will be held at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, from May 27 through July 14. The $10,000 Main Event will start on July 5, with the winner of the most prestigious poker tournament in the world guaranteed a ridiculous $10 million first-place prize.
