Jon Sofen

Jon Sofen began playing poker, like many others, after being fascinated with Chris Moneymaker’s WSOP victory in 2003. Since then, he has been a contributor to numerous poker blogs and played in some of the top poker rooms across the country. His goal at CardsChat is to provide nothing but fair, balanced, and accurate reports on all things poker. Jon resides in Las Vegas, but is a proud Midwesterner. When he isn’t writing about or playing poker, he is busy cheering on his beloved Iowa Hawkeyes and Kansas City Royals.
