While players like Benny Glaser were adding World Series of Poker bracelets to their collections at live events in Vegas this weekend, thousands of players tried for the gold online.

Three of them came up big in bracelet events that brought in superb entry fields thanks in part by Pennsylvania players, who are able to play in this year’s WSOP events alongside players in Michigan, New Jersey and Nevada for the first time.
Mystery Bounty produces two $100K winners
The biggest event of the weekend was the $555 Mystery Bounty contest that took place Sunday, June 1. Starting at 6:30 p.m. EST, it took nearly 13 hours to find out that “kingjoe” would win the bracelet, the $95,464 that came with, and another $5,821 in bounties for a grand total of $101,285.
And because the top mystery bounty was $100,000, he would end up behind “Lothbroke,” who pulled the big bounty before being eliminated in 34th place, of which the $1,861 wouldn’t have even covered the cost of his five buy-ins. He finished the tournament first in cash with $102,163.
The bounty of $50,000 was pulled by “Timduckworth,” who wound up with $51,310 for finishing in 161st. Tim Duckworth is the Director of Live Events & Content for PokerGO, but he isn’t “Timduckworth” on WSOP Online. That would be his friend, six-time WSOP bracelet winner Shaun Deeb.
The event attracted 1,484 players who rebought 1,067 times to build a prize pool of $1,275,500.
Opener breaks 2,200 entries
The WSOP Online bracelet race began Saturday, May 31, with the $400 opener, and it didn’t disappoint. A field of 1,225 (981 rebuys) pushed the non-guaranteed tourney prize pool to $794,160. A majority of that went to “delayedpenalty,” who used power of two buy-ins to win the bracelet and $97,762.
In fact, the top three finishers relied on multiple buy-ins to make it to the money. They were Corey “albertcamus” Thompson, who finished second for $69,806 (minus four rebuys), and “fourforthree,” who finished third for $49,873 (minus three rebuys).
Players had to make it to 420 in order to cash a minimum of $794.
Thompson is an online player out of Erie, Penn., who won his first WSOP bracelet a day later in the Crazy 8’s $888 event, where he rode one bullet all the way to the top. He also finished 31st in the $555 event.
‘AlbertCamus’ goes crazy
The third and final WSOP bracelet event of the weekend brought in 564 players (356 rebuys) who pushed the prize pool to $736,000. Thompson won his first bracelet and $136,160 for winning all the chips.
The runner-up was “MAIONESE” who won $95,793, with “Flat_White” rounding out the top three for $73,600.
In the first three events, Thompson won a total of $207,827. According to SharkScope, which only has results since Pennsylvania players were merged with the other states in late April, he was down about $16,000 on Friday. Now he’s not.

It should be noted this his results since April 29. He’s been at it a lot longer than that.
Thompson is now in the driver’s seat for the WSOP Online Player of the Year but there are 27 more bracelet events to go, so anything can happen.
