Just came in 3rd on my first tourney! It has been a short time playing and I have been making strides on my end game. There is much to be learned from the players on Cardschat. I managed a $10+ cash-out and turned it into $70 overnight on the cash tables. Looks like I will try my luck on a bigger tourney just to see how I stack up with the competition. My main platform is on ACR. Does anyone have a favorite tourney on ACR with a buy-in of around $15 or less? Looking for some ideas. Having a blast with no investment so far. I will see how far it takes me!:smile::smile::smile::smile::smile:

My favourite Buy in are the hot tournaments, turbo tournaments, my best option tournament is the 7.50$ Hot.

If you do not follow the bankroll management system then you have a great chance of losing all your money. If your bankroll is only $ 70, then all you can play are $ 1 buy-in tournaments, no more.

I think there are many good micro-stake in tournaments on ACR, especially guaranteed 8-max tournaments with a buy-in of less than or equal to 5.5$.

I'm still a beginner with online tournaments, and just had my hand in a $3.00 + $0.30 $3,000 GTD, and I had fun with minimal investment.

I personally stick with almost only offerings in the micros tab (so under $5 including fee) and I have a rotation of tournaments where I like the structure, buy-in, overlay, time it's held, time it will take me to play if I have a deep run, etc. I stick to these events, have my good and bad days, but over time make my stack go up. If I had to pick one of my favorites on ACR, it would be the $300 GTD - Turbo Mega Stack for $1.65.

Only played it a few times have not faired well yet, but I think the nightly "The Boski Special" $15K guaranteed $11 buy-in is pretty good.

15$ or less

I buy in a lot of small tournaments and do very well in some but every time I enter in big tourneys seems like I’m always nocked out buy bad beats.especially when I’m close in the money:cool:

Another solid top 27 finish. Got knocked out with pocket kings.

Here is a screenshot from my first 3rd place. Guess this is me starting a record of my progress too.

If you are chasing relatively big FT, top 3 prizes, GTD compare to buyin - as it looks like for me - recommend you the Sunday 25K 6,6$ buyin at 1pm ET. Pretty good, long rebuy period, very mixed field (I think most of the tourney players play it.) Otherwise, there are few good 6K gtd 6,6$ during the week, one at 11pm ET, not running everyday. not my favorites, but if you want to try your luck, for me these looks ideal.

Here is another tournament I came in top 10 to get $10 added to my bankroll. After grinding on the cash tables I am up to $160 total. Good start and all for free!

Almost finished on the final table. Made a few mistakes late. Overplayed pocket kings when I hit a set and bluffed an all in with KQ suited pre-flop. Went up against AK and lost. All-in-all a fun time and another finish in the money. The bankroll is steady building and I look forward to meeting all of you on the tables. Thanks for this awesome experience in learning.
