I see freerolls as a great bankroll starter and remain very grateful to CardsChat for the opportunity to play without investing my personal funds into the game. Some players are presently professional poker players by making a big break in a freeroll, into a satellite and then making a deep run in a huge multi-table tournament like the micro-millions or wsop. So be sure to take stabs at these because you just never know.

Go get them Freerolls!

I'm just playing Freeroll so I don't lose money playing with real money... How much money in a month can a novice raise more or less?

I agree with you. I wish I played a few more free rolls. Its about making myself available. So many people do not have the cash lying around to invest in the game of poker. If you are dedicated enough then you can win enough money to start your bankroll. It will take a lot of time though unless you have some really deep finishes.

You can make a good bankroll with freerolls.
And an extra income, if you have free time to play all of them.

Well, as I understand it, this is 50 to 50, it's very difficult on a freelol of a very different suit of players should not really be lucky for a person to get income from a freelol

Of course it is possible. If you play every day, several freerolls per day, you will soon be able to build a bankroll and receive income. It may not be a lot of money, but it will be a profit nonetheless.

freerolls are there to help you learn and start to build a bankroll, though there are a lot of inexperienced players who play in those games, there's a lot one can take away , knowing how to read opponents, info gathering, knowing when to play aggressive or passive

It is possible, but it primarily depends on you and your desire to earn additional income. For me, the main motivation for playing poker is money. Therefore, I try to play as soon as I have free time, and I try not to miss interesting freerolls.

Look at freerolls as bankroll busters. No risk, small reward that helps BR to stay moving in right direction.

I have been receiving additional income from freerolls for several years now. But I use the money I win to participate in buy-in tournaments or to bet on sports.

I vowed never to transfer money to Jokerstars again. I've only been playing freerolls for a while now. If you manage to forge capital from it, then you succeed, if not, then you don't. It will be a slower process, but for sure I never transfer my own money to this site anymore.

Yes, you can earn extra money from freerolls but also depends of what sum do you consider like extra. You will need a lot of patience but it is possible

For sure. Mainly if we talk about the freerolls of the Cardschat. These freeroll platinum and silver level ends until in 3 or 4 hours.
If you are able to play most of these games, you can win some money without risks.
The smaller prize (100$) just pay about $20+ for the first place. Further if you play another free tourneys your wins can get higher.

But if you want make huge money, so you need to invest.

Hello there,

I believe anyone who is persistent in his games, meaning to play calmly and patiantly over a long period of tournaments can build you a decent bankroll.

I think It's good to set some objectives too, because when you have order in your mind, you are much more focused on doing your best to achieve that goal. For example: I set a target, playing freerolls when I have the time in order to reach 50$. Then, I have two options: withdrawing it or starting to play micro buy-in tournaments for building a much more high bankroll, let's say double it, then withdraw.

But that requires discipline, seriousness and perseverance. I mean not winning let's say 2$ from a freeroll and then immediately start playing a 2$ buy-in torunament in order to gain more money fast. That won't work for your bankroll, or maybe work in that moment If you're lucky to win but bot on the long term.
You make a good point!

That was me before, making money and no sooner did I make it than it is spent at the ring tables or some MTT for my whole bankroll. This time, I am doing things the disciplined way; working my way up to $100 + to earn the right to play a $1.00 MTT or Ring table. Check out my progress here.

Feel free to subscribe!

What do you think?
I think you can make money in the freerolls. The big question is; How do you manage those funds that you win?

Presently, I am doing a Zero Bankroll Builder Challenge. Feel free to subscribe and give your thoughts on the hand that I share from time to time.

I am trying to get to $100.00 to start playing $1.00 MTT and ring tables.

Stay tuned. :geek:

Freerolls are a very good way to start it. You need to volume a lot though to consider it profitable.. However, the CC freerolls for example helped me a lot on many situations of BR saving heheh.

I have a patience problem though and tend to use the FR money to play microstakes 4 volume of tournaments sake.

Yes, especially with cardschat freerolls, because there are few players and the prizes are very good.

You can, but it'll be a little pocket money. This is what I'm doing in poker right now.
