Definitely it’s possible, only you can be selective, have to play in those who have smaller field, and paying the most. CC freerolls are the best for that, then some poker rooms have some promotion periods when they give more money in freerolls, etc. For example my brother got second place in 2000$ freeroll on bet online and win 190$ prize, so there is really nice bankroll for playing in buy in tournaments.

Absolutely. It's how I've always done it. Best thing is...it's all profit no matter where you cash.

right now I'm building up my bankroll on acr after 1 month I'm up to $22.87 they have 6 freeroll tourneys during the week each day 8am 11am 2pm 5pm 8pm 11pm cst $50 prize pool they are soft so u can make the money but most of time when u get in the money its between 7 to 30 cents you get over a $1 if u make final table i made final table 6 times in the past month and won twice but i think if your trying to build your bankroll acr is good place to be might take some time to build it just have to have patience and have a goal to where u want to get to before you play reg tourneys

Back in the Full Tilt era, Chris Ferguson famously tried to build a bankroll from $0 to $10,000 by playing freerolls. He managed to reach his goal in 18 months and eventually ran his bankroll up to $28,000. So to answer your question, yes.

Yes of course. You have to be constant and not make the same mistakes and above all be patient so as not to slam everything without having achieved a reasonable goal.
Good luck. ;)

Freerolls are a very good way to build your bankroll, especially private freerolls. But do not play freerolls with a large number of players and a small prize pool.

can you bank only with freerolls?

I think I have not been able to achieve it, my best profit in a free is below $ 2:D
Mine is similar, I think the most I have won in a freeroll was 5 dollars. And after a while he had lost them at other tables. I think you could if you were more patient, less anxious and smarter. But that's not what characterizes me. Hahaha.:cool:

It is quite possible to climb with the help of freerolls, but patience is required.

been playing for free, no deposits, for years . Bankroll fluctuates from 50 to 400. When I go below 50 I play only freerolls.

Yes it's very possible. Freerolls are a minefield, and the play early on is usually more towards the any-two-card range. However, once you get a decent amount of money (say $10) You can start microstake sit&go or tournaments & with proper bankroll management (!!!!) you will start to notice an increase in your bankroll :)

I also started building bankroll from freerolls. When I had $ 20, I started playing for money. I won, lost and eventually lost all money. And so several times. Now I want to build a bankroll on freerolls again, if it works out.

Yup

It certainly is - I freerolled for one entire year playing nearly exclusively only freerolls and 11 cent buyins maybe twice per week. I only deposited 25 dollars to confirm I could make withdrawals. You can check my WPN scope to see I'm now playing 2-4 dollar buyins on a regular basis, and I've made regular withdrawals starting around march/april of this year.

Of course yes. The matter is: Can you be a winner in other limits if you are a winner on freerolls?

Responsible gaming The first bankroll makes you take the game seriously. Having real money on your account, you will learn bankroll management, you can choose your game, be it SNG, MTT or cash, a suitable limit and start making real money. Having your own bankroll, you will be motivated to play better, learn, improve.

With your first deposit, you will need significantly less time to move up the limits. If before that you played only freerolls, then you probably noticed that most players in these tournaments treat the game like a lottery. Skill in such tournaments is often irrelevant. You can lose tournament after tournament, even if you improve your game, read articles, watch videos. Playing "for candy wrappers" forms a wrong style of play and a distorted attitude towards poker in general.
Perhaps you already consider yourself a bad player, and also think that in poker you can win only through luck. This is not true! Freerolls for several thousand people are not the best place to improve your poker skills. With your first deposit you can start your poker career and win money.

yes you can. I heard of some guy who actually became rich from freerolls. I placed on a couple and use that money to win 2 tournaments. 1 from $5 came in 1st and second so we split the money for $200 each and a couple days later I won another $10 tournament for $350 first place.

In freerolls, the main thing in the early stage of the game is not to call all the pushes in a row. How often you will be run over by weaker hands. My profit on freerolls is more than $ 100 if we take into account all the freerolls played.
