I'm not sure I agree with the whole play more hands strategy. To me that's like saying more chips make it okay to play bingo. And that's fine if you hit bingo. But if you don't then you're just going to be allowing yourself to be put in tricky situations where you find yourself holding a pairs but being outkicked or chasing draws and basically bleeding chips. But of course there is always that possibility that you will hit bingo and double up back to the starting stack you had before you started bleeding chips.
I say just play your normal game. I'm not saying that I won't defend my blind, or call a small bet to see the next street in a spot that I might not normally. But let's not get carried away with it. If anything, I would think that with a bigger starting stack would afford you the opportunity play with a little more patience and wait for quality hands. But that's just me
