If you're talking about cashing, I have gone over 40 tournaments twice without a cash.

How I handle it? Its just variance and I just think about the times it's been going my way. Winning back-to-back tournaments or when I final tabled 4 of 5 in a live tournament's series once.

If your talking about hands, I love when they want to go all in with me. I want their chips and if they want to donate to my stack, I am ok with it. We just need to remember we will win more often than they will.

Good question… I think I’ve gone several months without a significant cash… it’s very frustrating indeed. Play well and exercise patience… then get dealt a real hand (KK) and get knocked out with a gut shot on the river..
I get deep in tournaments and then get knocked out by hands that had a 10-20% chance of winning on the turn… it’s brutal out there.

You are always going to have bad runs, this is poker variance. I've already accepted that bad beats will always happen and there's nothing you can do besides keep doing the right decisions. If I review the hand and still think it was the best decision for that hand, I just move on to my next hand/tournament.
I don't know how many tournaments in a row I lost without cashing, but I had bad runs that lasted months, but eventually the bad run will end.

I've recorded every tournament that I've played since I began in October of 2018, and my longest streak out of the money was 10 tourneys.

Losing hands, where you were a slight favourite, does not mean, you are running bad. If the "maniac" has random cards against your AK, he still has something like a 1:3 chance of winning, so this is supposed to happen rather frequently. However if you have lost money over a sample of 25.000 MTTs, this is extremely unlikely to be due to just variance, and you need to look for the reasons elsewhere.

Maybe you play in tough games (like to high stakes), or you have a tendency to tilt, or you are simply not as good, as you think, you are. Have you taken the free CC 30-day course? If not thats a good place to begin. You can also opt into sharkscope and use their "insights" function. It gives advice based on all your statistics compared to that of similar players. And while not to be taken as gospel, it can certainly give some clues to, where the problems might lie.

25000? With that many tournaments you should have (more than) enough examples where you "dont run bad" ...

yes, variance can be bad, you must have strong mindset to understand these poker ups and downs.

variance variance, the one that sometimes is very hard on you for a long time, it's frustrating most of the time, sometimes it's hard to understand and process when that happens, at first it's just like ok, if it continues it's already frustrating and it bothers me a bit, but I try not to get stuck in that since it's worse later, my game can get out of control and that's not right, patience and perseverance is one of the keys

Most recently it was 8 MTT without getting into the money, but it was most likely way more back in the day when I wasn't tracking it. It's just variance at the end of the day. Sometimes you do everything right and cards don't come. :)
