Back on pokerstars today. Not really done much had a few tourneys where i have made the bubble. But I am sticking to the $1.10 tourneys until I have increased my bank roll. My bankroll is $110 so 100 attempts at these at least. If you break in to the bubble that increases the number of tourneys I can enter with my $110 plus what I win on freerolls. But like I say sticking to the $1.10 until I hit $220 then I will move up to $220. But if I win a $1.10 I will more than likely have enough to bankroll the $3.30 tourneys.

Welcome back to Pokerstars.

From the sounds of it you have a really good plan with some good bankroll management. Hopefully with a little luck you will find success.

Best of luck in the games.

Welcome back and best of luck. With a bankroll of 110$ on PokerStars I recommend to grind the multi table SnGs. The 1$ 45 man and 180 man are ideal for that bankroll, and you can also throw in some 1,5$ 90 man bounty. These are all regular speed with 10-15 min blinds, so they are in fact just small MTTs, and they run all the time. Or at least the 1$ 45 man does. You can still play some 1,1$ from the tournament lobby, but these have higher rake and huge fields, which increase variance. Actually you are not really bankrolled for these with 110$. For really serious bankroll management you need something closer to 300$, if these are the only games, you play, because its so difficult to win the big prices, that really matter, when you compete against tousinds of other players.

Welcome back & best of luck!

For a while I stopped playing buy-in games at Stars and only played CC freerolls there, but after a few juicy wins in the UK freebuys I couldn't resist dipping my toe again...

Thankfully the downswing which drove me to freerolls seems to be over now! :flute:

Today again on PokerStars. I really didn't do much in some tournaments where I did the bubble. But I stick with the $ 1.10 tournaments until I have increased my bank roll. My bankroll is $ 110, so at least 100 of these attempts. If I enter the bubble that increases the number of tournaments, I can participate with my $ 110 plus what I win in the freerolls. But like I say, if I stick to $ 1.10 until I hit $ 220, I'll go up to $ 220. But if I win $ 1.10, I most likely have enough to fund the $ 3.30 tournaments.
I have the same problem in the bubble I don't dare to play, I wait for the prize but when I realize I have few chips and they end up eliminating the blinds, but I see that you have a very good plan, I for my part wish you the best Good luck, and I would love for you to achieve all your goals. regards

My main problem was bingo poker and you get that type of poker in the Hyper SNGs the Grand Tour and the Spin and gos, I have remedied this by restricting my SNG buy in to $0. I tell you this much I am so much happier now I am not playing the Bingo poker, I am playing $1.10 Tourneys and I am doing quite well. I have broke into the bubble around 75% of games I have played which i think is quite good. I have a few top 100 finishes but not managed to reach a final table yet it will come. I was just in one tourney 8d 9d 3BB to call im sat with 41BB in CO flop comes 9c 8s 4d so im thinking get in this is virtually in the bag. Barring Pocket 8s pocket 9s or pocket 4s Villan to my right raises all in and turns pocket 9s Ive got too much beat to fold so call, He had 90bb these are the unlucky hands you have to deal with and because im not playing bingo I am dealing with them well.

I understand and commend your commitment to playing solid poker, bingo poker doesn't exactly require much skill or finesse...

At the same time, when we're playing pko's we can't really be 'not bothered about knocking people out' because so much of the prize pool is allocated as bounties.

With around 40-50% of the prizes assigned as head prizes it's important that we collect as many as possible along the way and always register as early as possible.

If you don't want to dance in pko's I would strongly recommend playing straight up MTT's instead, your ROI will be better in the long run.

I have played 34 $1.10 Touneys kos and regular MTTs had a couple of bad runs but my bankroll is now $120 from $110 so doing quite well. If I do have a solid hand I do go to knock people out some times I will trap someone, sometimes just go for the jugglier, I would like to win a tournament that will come. Patience and persaverence and it will come. Away with the bingo poker a more controlled approach from the start till I'm out of a tournament I build my stack little by little using a 20% calling range at some point you end up flopping the nuts and double up or better now I'm off bingo poker I'm not getting out drawn much by fish who shove on anything.

I closed my account at pokerstars. The players in that competition are too good in my opinion.

Had my first really good run this week finished 27th in a 800 player event. To be fair getting in the money and top 100 quite often. Its when i get a good chip stack 80BB + I start hermeraging chips that needs to be addressed.

My Goal is to finish as high as i can as often as i can so when I have 80BB I need to stay tight, Instead I am looking at more flops and its costing me dearly because I am looking with 8 9 off flops then comes 6 7 Q so I am continueing and getting owned because the 5 or 10 just doesnt come, then by the time it does I am down to 10 bigs. I was sat with 86bb with 36 players to go, I should have just tightenend up picked up pots when i could and I would have easy made it into the Top 9. I was sat 2nd at the time.

 Yes, well I try to withdraw $ 20 and they asked me for a series of rules, I am solving that.
