It really depends on several factors but my suggestion would be to play tournament of $1.00 + .10 or less at this point. If you are playing in tournaments with say 500 or more players you may want to start with even lower buy in as the variance could take you out if you dont hit a good score sooner than later but if you can and would be willing to add more funds at a later time if needed playing in events or $2.00 + .20 would be reasonable.
If you can and reload easily, then you can take a more loose BRM approach with 50+ buy-ins.
If you can't reload often or don't want to, then you want to be more conservative. 100 buy-ins in standard, but 200 buy-ins could be better. Especially if you play bigger fields, due to more variance or bigger stakes, due to higher skill level.
