Hey all. I know there are sites out there that track live and online tournament winnings but are there any that track tournament profit?

What I mean is say there is a player who has made $2.5 million in live tournament winnings. That’s great but how much did he spend in buy ins and how many did he not cash? Did he spend $3 million and thus has a -$0.5 million profit? I think this would be more accurate is seeing who is the best player.

Sure Justin Bonomo leads all time in tournament winnings but he won $10 million in a $1 million buy in. Did he also lose millions in similar tournaments?

If anyone knows if there is a site let me know. You wouldn’t think it would be that hard to track. I know the players in the money are made public, maybe if you lose it’s not?

I think this would be impossible to track,,,think about it.How could you track every buy-in for every player in every casino? Interesting concept, but unrealistic.

But they do track the players who cash. It would just be expanding those tournaments to include those who don’t as well. I’m not talking about every little $10 buy in at a small casino but just the ones they already track, or even just the wsop circuit, WPT, EPT, etc.

I don't think that exists any software which might track your expenses with poker and i don't think will exist ever mainly because these are personal informations; so the only one who can and should track your expenses and winnings at poker is you by making notes:).

Not that I'm aware of. No way to track every player that buys in to every tournament.

Why do you think that they lose a lot in millions when buying live tournaments, if they buy tournaments for 5,000- 10,000-15,000 dollars and win 300,000-500,000 or 1 million, I think that for them to lose 20,000 thousand or 50,000 in tournaments is normal - but then in some kind of tournament win and raise a good amount, I would if I had the opportunity to play in such tournaments for 1,000-5,000 or more I would not climb out of tournaments and would play every day in such tournaments,
to try to win good money, I agree with the participant

Why do you think that they can not track every tournament where you play and win, I get all the messages on the e-mail where I played and won, and it was such that I played in more than 20 tournaments a day and won and I received all the reports about that where I played the tournament number and what place I took, but this is personal information of the players!

You are talking about going from tracking 10-20% max - to tracking 100%. That is a massive amount of work that I doubt anyone is interested in doing.

The venues will track the winnings because it gives them free advertising all over the place. The have nothing to gain from tracking the loss and profit of every single entry - all they need is the total number of entries and who won money.

The players themselves wouldn't want this.

I think it's impossible, about the players often do not use their own savings, but they continue to share a possible gain.
