for me it is AK

sometimes i even feel as if AK is not a premium hand in a cash game really

AK is hand that I lost a lot of money on, I feel I overvaluate that and am more careful with it nowadays

It seems pocket Kings are my achilles heal. Why do they win only about 30% of the time. Because anyone with an ace is going to call a 3bet preflop - regardless of the size. Shove - yep they still are a callin. 200bb shove pre - yep A/4 sooted binks the ace to scoop the pot.

Of all the hands we play - which hands do you think you are losing the most money with - in tourneys mostly, not cash games. Mine is definitely Kings.

I have JJ I win 1 time out of 20, I often fold them)

Poker

you know, poker is not such a stable thing, I let's say yesterday I lost 4 hands out of 5, on rockets and what is most funny I lost through ollin aq, which of course reached either flush or straight, definitely yesterday I had not a lucky day,but I do not lose heart and go ahead, which I advise you, good luck )

You have 70% of the winnings when you go all-in against Ax, but you get a completely different win percentage if multiple players enter the game !!! This does not mean that you should always go all-in with this hand, but you should be able to correctly assess the situation and fold KK if you understand what is behind !!! Unfortunately, a lot of players cannot do this even if it is obvious that they are behind !!!

Dispersion cannot last forever and if the game is correct, KK will always remain monsters)))

I lose the most with AK. I do not like this hand in tournaments, in cash games at a distance of 40 thousand hands with hands AQ and AJ I also lose (

Totally agree with all the sentiments regarding A/K. It was the hand that missed and knocked me out when on one of the FTs yesterday.

The key with A/K - for me anyway - is it is nearly mandatory to play heads up. So that often requires a 3bet preflop to thin the players attempting to see a flop.
This requires at minimum 25-30bb - imo.
Because here is the thing - if we 3bet light - we are going to get called by more than one opponent. If we 3bet larger - we might face a 4bet by someone with a premium - or medium pp - and this is the point we need to decide - are we gong to gamble - get it in - or can we have the fortitude to fold and find a better spot with our remaining stack.

If we 3bet and get only called - the flop dictates if we win this hand or not.
I will often bluff jam the flop - regardless of the board - to put my opponent to the ultimate decision. He either hit, he has an over pair or better, or he is calling with a worse Ace. With a worse ace - possible flush or straight draw, or a medium or under pocket pair - that is a tough call to make for the remaining chips.

I will at times fold pre A/K when the action in front of me is sooper heavy.
UTG open UTG+1 3bet MP2 4bet jam button call - and I'm sitting in the bb with A/K off with 25bb. Depending on the opponents - this is a pretty clear fold for me because we are going to be up against no less than two other opponents here - often times we will be crushed and at best we will be playing the hand vs a medium pocket pair TT+ and A/x suited. Most likely we'd be up against JJ+ plus another pocket pair, plus another hand that contains an Ace and possibly another hand with a King.

But with 25bb and an open in front of me and one weak 3bet from an opponent I know will 3bet light - any suited Ace or any pp 66+ - I will often 4bet jam - and cross my fingers and toes. :)

GL on the felt boys -with A/K!

Yes, I can understand. With pocket kings you don't block any aces. This means that an opponent will call with an ace and then hit an ace on the flop is not so unlikely. In addition, you often run against Aces with pocket kings. No idea why this is so. With AK you are at least blocking an ace and a king. This makes it unlikely that an opponent will have pocket kings or aces. Against any other hand you have at least 50% equity. That's why AK is often worth more to me than KK. For me, pocket kings is also a hand that I often lose with.
