I have always played cash games and in the last few years i decided to start getting into playing tons of MTT's, nothing major, i will play the many micro-low MTT's like the Bounty builder/Hot and KO games for anywhere as little as 55c to sometimes playing the $12 Blowfish games on 888 aswell as the $1 Goldfish games and many other $1snap/zoom tournies and sometimes i'll play Omaha games also, especially PLO8, now I'm not so great at cashing deep and have many cashes but most are min and i have binked some tournies like the PLO8 for $250 and 2nd place in hot for $75 but overall I'm just above a breakeven player with my tournie winnings covering my buyins overall but not that much but i do play alot of tournies so i can't complain.
I enjoy playing 5-6 tournies most Days and especially at the weekends and just grinding away and learning at the same time. If i feel some Days when i haven't cashed in any tournies i will multi-table the Zoom tables pretty aggressively and always seem to manage to start off with a $2-5 bullet on each table whatever micro games i play and i always seem to either double or treble my bullets most Days and get my BR back up again to cover the tournie buyins i need. the only thing i ask is if i stick to the cash tables i would probably be winning more overall going by ROI more or less but i could bink or go very deep in som which makes me want to play these games and I'm not a bad tournie player and feel if i keep paying i'll start going way deeper than min cashing mostly, was just wondering what others thought of this as i have built up a 4digit BR on PS and i feel it's worth the risk overall rather than just stick to playing cash games and esp when i know i won't run as good all the time, apologies if this sounds like a ramble but had a few beers and was typing as fast as poss,:)

1. if you play poker as a hobbie -it does snot matter just have fun, and thats it
2. that being said you should be carefull as cash games and MTTs are very different and you could mixup how your top pair A with kicker 8 stands in 3bet pot in ante MTT.

Apologies for the scattered thread, yeah i can adjust my play to play both but overall i need to be cashing deeper to sustain a greater ROI, i'm not unhappy about my ROI just now as it sustains my buy-ins for these tournies i play, i was just wondering if overall i should stick to cash and just bank my winnings from there but then you don't always run great and variance is going to play a huge part in that also so i like to mix it1 up and i am winning but just not as much as i'd like it to be, i have run up just over a 1k BR on PS to use but i would like it to run it up abit quicker which it would if i managed to get deeper in some tournies. :) I do enjoy playing poker which is why i play so many games these Days.
