With that notes i would call
But that was risky, any T+ on the flop and it would be very hard to call, losing a huge amount of your stack (ATs AJ AQ AK KQ KTs KJs QJs ....)
Notes can be great for making decisions. I have used mine on tight spots. The only issue I keep thinking about is you said I was "Whatever he has, I'm slightly - very slightly - ahead of him on the flip." I dont know if the best move long term is taking this big a chance early in a tournament. Yes your bankrolled for it but is it a good poker play? I for one dont always play the same hands the same way 100% of the time. It makes me harder to play against. This guy could change at anytime as well.
