Hey Jeff,

What do you think of the new update to ACR - showing the number of buy-ins for each player in the lobby?

In my opinion it shows - who is willing to gamble - firing multiple (3 or more) bullets to play.
Interestingly - it also shows which players do not consider ROI - for instance; in the 4k yesterday there were several players who had fired between 5-7 bullets.

Those players would have had to make the final two tables to even break even. None actually did.

Cheers.

Hi Boski

Love playing with you in MTT, always a challenge.

Does the game play differ, in $3.30 games $3,000 GTD vs $55 games $100K GTD. I tend to play a lot more nitty in micros because it seem people call you down with anything on the blinds.

I only just started with the $55 $100K on Sunday.

I totally agree, if you are shoving into someone that fired 5+ bullets in the blind, the odds of getting called is much greater than the guy on his first bullet.

I just saw you were on here as an expert. You are one of the YouTube poker vlogs I watch to know I will be laughing. You are also one of the reasons I am building a bankroll on ACR, because I want to play a table with you. You are the bomb and should be used to talk wsop or one of those big series. hands down better to watch than Polk or Ingram.

Raising ALMOST all in but leaving back 1.5 or so bb

Hey Jeff

Can you explain in detail why you will OFTEN shove almost your entire stack - leaving yourself something like 1 - 1.5bb or less.

I understand in key situations, nearing money bubble and money ladders, it allows you to extend your time bank.

In other situations this is a good strategy as well, when you have a similar sized stacks to your left it makes sense that they will either have to re-jam or fold - because calling for 70% of their stack - is just bad poker.

The reason I ask - is - you have an entire army of donkeys copying you. Unfortunately only about 0.3% of them are utilizing this tactic in situations that warrant it.
The other 99.7% are totally clueless droolers - they just saw you do it a number of times - and think it's COOL cause Boski does it.

I've seen so many - special players - use this tactic when it makes no sense.
As an example
I'm sitting in the bb with 15bb
SB has 7bb
button has 10bb
We are 60 from the money and CO opens for 20x pot leaving himself 1.5bb behind.
Just totally clueless - why??? Why not just jam, or better yet - just put in 16bb since that is the biggest stack left to act.

So PLEASE inform these players - of course nearly none of them are CC members - but it'd be great to get the information relayed - so at least a couple players know the LOGIC behind making this move.

Thanks

Jeff hasn't been in this thread since last summer - so I would hold off on asking him questions until he returns - if he does. :)
OK Debi - thanks - I'll contact him on twitch. Do you ever use this tactic?

Hello CardsChat!

I have been a professional tournament player for 14 years. 2.5 years ago I started my own YouTube channel youtube.com/c/JeffBoski to document tournament poker in Las Vegas. Many of my vlogs have been controversial, but I feel that is the best way to show the realness of my unique occupation. I have visited fine steak houses, massage parlors, strip clubs and many casinos in the 300+ vlogs I have uploaded.

I have longstanding accounts on Pocketfives and Twoplustwo but I am new to this forum. Feel free to Ask Me Anything!

-Jeff
