This is a very good strategy if you want low variance winnings, like if you're trying to grind your first buy-in for (say) NL2 from freerolls exclusively, without deposits. However, I'd advise against it if you're not in this position and are fine with a bit of variance. Since the field is so soft, your ROI (well, more like return on time than return on investment in freerolls) will be much higher if you play from the beginning of the tournament, even playing basic ABC poker.
The same goes for other freerolls which have a long late registration period and reward much of the player pool.

If you enter within two hours of starting (at the end of late registration) almost certainly you have a reward.
I converted 1 penny to 8 in 30 minutes
Is that the reason you came into the tournament - for 7 c ? I think that one player when enters in one tournament, the target is to win the tournament or to get to the crucial phases, but to enter the tournament and to slow down the play every hand is one of the most stupid things and from my experience there are many people who are doing this.
You will not gain anything with play like this. Try to play real poker with your own style of playing. Because on the next Jackpot you will get aces on the first hand and you will not fold them and someone will bad beat you very roughly and after that you will explain that how unlucky you are. Even you win, for example , 50c to 1$ from that play, then you will enter them in other tournament and the software will bring them back to you. Try to play different kind of tournaments, SNG ot cash game and there will be a chance to win something.
