How often are you in the money in MTTs ?

But I find it actually more easy to reach the FT from itm, than getting itm (ofc only when having an average stack itm).
If you play tight after the bubble, you can easily get 2-3 pay-out levels higher without doing anything.

you don't get in the money enough in MTTs where it can effect your mentality but variance can be a pain. You will get your chance to make it to the top (as long as you don't mess up constantly)

At the moment I'm only playing the various freerolls on 888, and almost exclusively on the weekends, and looking over my stats I've been making it into the money about 2 out of 3 times since I've been keeping track starting April 13.
It sounds high, but these freerolls are mostly paying out better that 33% of the players registered.
For example I played 2 games this morning (I went 2/2) and they paid out 4500 out of 11442 and 1099 out of 3814.
My whole style of play is to make it ITM and then take it from there. In these you can usually make it just by merely doubling up (or even less. the 2nd game I'm sure some of the sitters who never played a hand made it ITM), and that is incredibly easy given how most people play them. I have no qualms about open shoving AA or KK since I get called at least 90% of the time (half the time by multiple players).

Of the 10 tournaments I have about one for the money, but it is not my wish, I would like more. Now I play on 888poker and PS, but the competition is strong

Playing 50 cent MTTs I make money on probably 1/4 regularly, though I'm on a killer downswing and have lost the last 10 so always keep heavy variance in mind.

At this point I almost stopped playing MTT moved to cache, but used to play a lot of tournaments and I can't say that often got and prizes(

Well on freerols you can't expect to be often in money...i am about 10% of times, but i play agressive, so if i make it i am often in last 7-8% off tournament, i think that is more important to make good money if you are in it then make a lot off ITM for small profits

Hey everybody. I am playing a lot of MTT: freerolls, low buy ins, and sometimes bigger tournaments on weekend. But I am not so often in the money. Is it normal or do I something wrong ? How often are you in the money ?

many times . last week only i have finished first thrice . But all were smaller tournament .And could win only 70$ in whole.
