I would like to hear / read your stories, if this situation has happened to you, and how you felt about it. It happened to me recently, there were fifty prize-winning places and I lost in 51st place. The worst? I had a pretty decent stack, but I played all in for a couple of aces and I lost against a flush. But if I had won I would have doubled my stack. And you? How was it?

Yep! Bubble boy in the $1 rebuy on Stars recently, 97 places paid 98 remaining and I was in the BB with AQ facing a BTN shove from a bigger stack that looked a lot like a steal attempt. He had K9 and hit a K on the turn . Don’t regret calling though it was the right thing to do :)

it's very sad to lose on the bubble ... I did not lose one step before the prizes. but I think it is very frustrating.

Sure it happened to me, a few times actually, it is the lamest feeling ever :) but I don't play big tournaments so i try to tell myself that it's not a big deal, but it doesn't work all the time :)

Hello.
Such sad situations sometimes happen to me. For example, yesterday I took 17th place in the tournament where there were 15 prize places. It is always annoying, but I just keep playing.

Definitely. Sucks when you could have folded to cash, but it makes you a better tournament player from trial & error

it has happened to me more than once that they eliminate me in the bubble and it is very frustrating since it has been at different times where my stack has been high but I let myself be carried away by good cards and players that I think are stealing

I think that sooner or later confronted with it. For me it is very unpleasant and can not immediately relax. But poker is primarily a game, and there may be an element of luck, when a weaker player wins. And so, too, it is!

Its all ready happened to me , many times.
I think its better to fold some good hand if you dont want to loose at the bubble.

But in the bubble the value of the prizes changes a lot between the first positions and the rest. Don´t you think it's better to take the risk to try to take a big prize than not to do it for a few dollars?

Happened to me in a cash tournament. I was low chip stack though so I didn’t have much of a choice. Still doesn’t feel great.

I have unfortunately been the last out before the money. The most frustrating part besides the money was losing with the better hand.

New Coaching Strategies!

When the stakes are high our adrenaline is pumping and we feel confidend in our bet's right? Yeah sure, but sometimes we still end up in a bloodbath!

It happens more often than I leave with prize money :). when there are few people left before the prize, I play more restrained, I often lost before, it already brings gaming experience

And if you do, would be 16 out of 15 ??? and at the same time you had two aces .. ???

Been there, done that.
really hurts when you have a deep ladder stack, and your dealt a premium hand that gets cracked.
Thats when it becomes a true test of ones ability to deal with tilt.
To be so close, Yet so far away.......

It's a call all day I'd rather die on the bubble then get chipped away hoping for a min cash.

Yes too many times then I want to remember. The majority of the times that it happens is because I wasn't thinking and made a move that wasn't profitable at that point in the tournament.

You need to watch what share of the tournament you lost. and how much your tournament share would improve. for example, if you doubled up with a high probability, you would win 2x minimum prizes, then this is not an error, and if you lost a chip-leader stack with which you could reach the final table, then this is already an error
