In the early stages of the tournament, what card combinations are you looking for to increase your chips? what do you do if, despite your patience, the good cards don't come and you don't find any good combinations

The value of the starting hand depends on the type of game: cash game or poker tournament. In a tournament, you need to go into the hand less often and bet with high pocket cards. High pocket pairs are excellent cards that you should definitely play with in poker. With such a hand, in no case should you call the bet of your opponents. Pre-flop, you must definitely raise to 5 minimum blinds. Remember that even a weak combination of an opponent (for example, Deuce + Three) can “run over” your pocket Aces on the flop. If you endure and wait, then a good card will definitely come.

The most common way that I have got a good stack early is just what you would expect. I get dealt a big pocket pair and do a preflop raise and I get against one or two players and the flop comes all undercards to my pair and I get the chips all in with the overpair against top pair

Ofcourse it suits cards with good equity look like KQs / 98s. On last positions CO or BTN i also like limp small pockets - on high cards flop u can easy fold but with high board but with set u have take much chips from ur opponent who never fold top pair)

and what can be done if good cards don't come? In my opinion, no one can influence the actions of the random number generator, if good cards do not come, you need to go into the hands with all sorts of garbage and lose

yes, if I don't get meaningful cards in a series, then if the flop doesn't hit either. then I am forced to bluff in order to win the pot.

I don't have preferences for pairs, connectors or any suited cards, I'm waiting for a good hand, which is not always a pair of A, I always end up losing with these cards

Hi.
If good cards don't come, I continue to wait patiently, or just stop playing and take a break. My main principle is not to play with junk. Thanks to this, my bankroll is growing and I'm doing pretty well.
Good luck.

if you play at pokerstars then play with low cards at the beginning of the tournament wait for big cards there is no point closer to the middle of the game it is worth waiting for the cards and enters the hand with big cards in the final it is worth playing both at the beginning and in the middle turn on the logic

At the beginning of the tournament, I prefer hands that can be played calmly, played slowly and folded without regret.

In such cases, I look at the flop with small BBs and if there are no raises further in the game, I wait for my two pairs on the table and raise. Sometimes I use connectors for small raises.

In the beginning I like to play hands like 7 8 suited. You have enough bbs and if you hit you have the Chance your oppenent dont trust you 😀

In the early stages I'm looking for AXs and suited connectors
Love to see a lot of flops with them

In the early stages I look for situations that are favorable for my cards in the position that I have. I really do not want to see the top pairs because they are dangerous when so many people are deep stacked because they are harder to get away from than say, QT suited when you have an unfavorable board.

The second question: When I drop below 20bb I am looking for high cards to shove with from late position,, when I get below 10bb I will shove with any pair, any ace, all k suited, and any two broadway cards. At that time it is sink or swim. This strategy is modified to account for payout implications.

Exactly what I think, the risky thing for me is that sometimes, even raising, there's always an idiot with bad cards who call the raise, then I end up believing that he has a good hand and not low cards, and when the flop opens and low pairs come at the table, I end up believing that it's impossible for the person to have called with anything smaller than a hand with J at least. What do you do? take this into account? Or do you have any secrets?

If you are card dead and/or continue to miss all the boards, then you just continue folding. And yes often this mean, you wont cash, but thats just part of the game. If you start playing more hands, or continuing on bad boards, you will just lose your chips even faster.
