vs btn #2 in chips open shoves

payout
1-123
2-88
3-67
4-50

i saw him reshove 88, but he's not stealing that quite, he is folding some of his btn

JJ should I fold ICM perspective? or JJ is just too strong in this spot, i will just not be results oriented, this is always get it in spot much more vs his hand.

With stacks this short you need to call with hands a lot worse than JJ, even when someone is running on fumes, as was the case here. Maybe you can fold a small pair like 22-66, but JJ is a snap call, and its not even a decision. Also you were ahead, when the chips went in, so as my friend Jon Poker would have said: Would you have had questions about this hand, if you had won it? Presumably not and then you are basically worrying about a random runout.

Just need confirmation, because i saw bencb folding AQ, and i saw lex folding KQ 7bb because there is one player who have 2bb but it is a $5200 scoop Final Table so maybe it’s a huge difference

AQ and especially KQ perform a lot worse in an all-in preflop scenario than JJ. KQ I would probably have folded in this spot, since it is behind to random crap like the A8 offsuit, which I expect Villain to show up with a lot. From the perspective of Villain I might not also jam that aggressively here, since there is so much incentive for everyone to let the short stack face the blinds next.

This makes a lot of sense

JJ is gonna perform
So much better than AQ and KQ, bec I already have a pair which we assume i’m way ahead of any AX and most of the time he will have 3 outer rather than 6

Thank you so much fundiver,

Another scenario in case I have AJ AQ and KQ can i Fold because I think minimum I can finish 2nd by just using my stack to open shove instead of calling?
