In my version of the practice, the settings for the tournament ended in complete failure. This did not give a positive result. It is most effective to play on the map, adhere to your established strategy and not rush to finish the game faster.

I don't have any ritual before playing in a tournament. I do get a little nervous because I want to do well of course, but I wouldn't say I do anything special pre-tournament.

I don't have any rituals, but I do have some customs before playing such as practicing some exercise, eating well, being well rested and reviewing some hands before starting to play.

Always try to get a meditation session in unless it's really too late! Also gotta bust a nut, lets me chill, Google the research I aint gotta think about that anymore.
Also may say affirmations if its a big one, & also gotta get some ganja in the system.
This is just me though, Ill let you knowhow it goes in a couple months

I have found that clearing my mind to nothing is the best for me.

Some people call this meditation.

Sometimes I can accomplish this in 1 minute. Sometimes 10 minutes. On rare occasions I can not clear my mind of thoughts of the day - and usually this is not good for my poker game.

By clearing my mind - I allow myself to soak in the information that I need to analyze each hand and scenario I get into.
