I can honestly say no. I am usually so concentrating on the played that are happening I never find I am board but more surprised how fast the time goes by.

You can always try to pick the winning player(s) at your table and go to sharkscope and see if you are correct. You can always throw up a post at cardschat and kill a few minutes.

I tell my wife: the longer you sit, the better, the more you win.

I feel more tired rather than bored, recently played more than 9 hours to the final table (all night), it's very exhausting.

well, I always listen to music and then if I get bored I go to classes in the middle of my tournament that helps me when I play

i start playing really well, but, passing two hours i get bored...its too long...what do you think?

The online tournaments that seem to go on forever cause boredom fairly often. To solve this, I make sure to take breaks or watch a movie while playing (one that I have seen before so I can focus on a hand if needed). Many times they happen during meal periods so I go out and grab a bite to eat and come back in 20 minutes provided my stack size is ok... if not then I order in and focus on eating. A 6 or 7 hour tournament online just drives me bonkers and I start calculating where I am ok to get out and once I am near there I play more aggressive.

Live tournaments have more things to keep my senses active and stay stimulated. So I can do long tournaments. I once played in a ironman tournament where the blind levels were 30 minutes, starting stack was 30K, and each blind level the game changed between PLO and NLHE. I lasted about 34 hours without sleep but the tournament ran for about 46 hours for a winner out of 90 players.

You lost if you feel asleep or lost your chips. Fun tournament but not something I would do more than once a year at most.

I don't know if I would say that I get bored. I'm not sure that is the most accurate way to characterize the way I feel while participating in tournaments that last eight to ten hours or more. I certainly get tired. And that might cause me to lose focus. But that's not necessarily the same thing as being bored. But hey, guess what? You better get used to it. With the majority of tournaments having three to four hours of late registration and reentry available, there are very few other options available for MTT players. Not too long ago, I participated in a tournament that began at 11PM. It had reentry available throughout the three hour late registration period. It must have been 5AM before we reached ITM, and 7AM before we reached the final table. I see less and less tournaments with less than three hours of late registration and virtually no freezeout tournaments. With very few options available to us her in the US, we have no choice but to get used to MTTs that take almost half a day to play being the norm.

Yeah i get bored and feel touraments shouldn't be so long especially in low stakes because why play 12 hours and get a bad beat and win like 23 bucks its brutal! Stakes that are high i don't mind.

Hello for me, long tournaments do not bore me, they require discipline and control of your game and that of your rivals if I go long it is because I am close to the final table and it is exciting to win :)

other reasons are distressing...

It is not so much the duration of long tournaments, but the blinds that are sometimes several minutes, such as 10, 12, 15 minutes. As well as players who only make time, especially when the bubble is being reached. That is why most of the time I participate in sit & go tournaments, where everything is faster, in shift mode or hyper turbo, 2 and 3 minute blinds.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

И у меня просто нет времени поиграть 5-8 часов, потому что у меня основная работа, но турниры мне нравятся больше, чем кеш, поэтому я хочу создать отдельную тему на форуме, чтобы узнать мнение начинающих игроков о поэтапных турнирах.

No, love poker. Most HPT tournaments run 11 or so hours, so it's a grind. Sucks being card dead for long stretches. On line, I watch the play of others and learn habits and tells.

Some times I get bored, depends on my hand strength's, the longest I have played was in a live tourney and I finished 2nd place after 9 hours of play.
Naturally there were breaks and I would go outside for a breath of fresh air, and phone the wife to let her know where I was in the Tourney as she hates the game but supports me when I have to travel a long way for a game.
Nearest Casino to us is about one and a half hours away by car, but some times I would travel up to 4 or 5 hours and stay over night if it was a big game.

Play hyperturbo, everything happens quickly, but the game requires the most accurate solutions.

_

Long tournaments sometimes get boring, I listen to music during the tournament. I think the boredom of the game depends on the game itself as it goes in General. This is the beauty of these games. Discipline is a key factor. For the sake of prizes and violets in such tournaments, it's worth it.
I wish you all good luck and patience!
