Hello everyone, everything good?
I played Big for $ 11.00 at pokerstars yesterday and joined this hand. I was comfortable and I was at BB.
LP player entered with pairs so I couldn't give up on the straight even though I knew he had set 888 999 QQQ. I wanted all the chips.
You would either fold or fold before the flop with TJo.
How does TJ play?

you got it in good and it didn't hold. don't worry about unfavorable results. nice hand, well played.

You had the nuts on the flop and got it all with someone. This is what you’d want happen every hand! Unfortunately you got unlucky but the vast majority of the time you will win and have a nice big stack. Not much you could do differently. Better luck next time.

This actually happened to me a little while ago. Flopped the nut straight and had two players go all in before me. I called and both had one pair. One guy got runner runner for a full house and busted me out. Very frustrating but would take those odds every single time.

Thank you.
The important thing is the right decision and not the result.

At the flop you had 65:35 , that's always a good thing for investing it all.

Maybe this is a case, where both players (set vs. straight) made no mistake on the flop.

But I am not sure if the call of 600 chips by SofiHaze is correct, because

-you cannot good setmine with high blinds in general

-still 4 players behind the caller (they can explode, then he likely has to fold, wasted chips)

-you need for conservative setmining the effective stack of 15-20x and this is I think the 8k stack of the initial raiser...600 chips is here a little too much (and again...he doesn't close the action)
