Am I playing too tight?

Some pretty big posts on this one.
I will keep it simple, while playing the suited connectors I will fold if the flop isn't the way I want it to fall. That is the biggest thing, a lot of players will hold on to the lower pair hitting and overs on the board. If you are playing cards that are meant for a straight and hit no where near it, time to think about the next hand.

we can not always look for monsters on the flop but the variance always punishes the premium hands I have lost more premium hands than looking to tie monsters:thumpdown

If you are a beginner is not that bad for you to play very tight. Is a chance for you to learn the amount of times that you win and lose each kind of hand.
