Hand #1: It depends on what you know about vilain

Hand #2: with 4 BB and 3 players left, I think it's a good call, but it also depends on what you know of vilains... Every step up is important and if you suspect the midle stack to go for 1st place, I prefer to wait for a better spot.

In the first hand the villain has few BB's lefts was drawing dead and his ranges for his all in got bigger and he did that pre flop, so in my opinion you made the correctly decision calling he just got lucky playing bingo.

Well on the second hand it's the same thing but you're on critical situation (Bb's melting your stack), i just don't understand how a guy go all in with 9 8 and the deck manages to help with. Just really bad variances.

I don't like either play but if your cards were running cold maybe the 2nd shove with 4 bb made some sense. Perhaps you had a read on the SB and knew he was shoving with a wide range but you still need to have a chance to win. In both cases you're playing A rag unsuited so you were really depending on hitting an ace. That limited your chances of improving. Basically you were gambling you would win with Ace high but your 2nd card was rather low so you would have most likely lost if the SB also had A rag. With 25 bbs you should folded the 1st hand and waited. The 2nd hand with 4 bbs I agree you probably couldn't wait much longer to for all in.

First Hand! Insta call. Second hand you need to analyze your opponent. If it is a mega nit or a weak tight maybe you need to fold. Also if you are the best player from those remained in the tournament you should fold. When you have a big edge against your opponents you should avoid flips, especially with weak aces.
