yea you stink, you should quit playing obviously....

you arent actually quitting are you???

i think you are kidding because of all your posts that I have seen in various threads tell me that you are a pretty good player and quitting because of a bad beat would be stupid.....

i dont know maybe you cant handle the highs and lows of poker so you are stopping once and for all....

well i cant really judge you because i do not even know you....

oh well....i got knocked out of 2 tournaments today when the other person had 2 outers....but thats how it happens...and i move on

gl with the rest of your games

I should quit cause I bluffed into the nuts, and he had the audacity to call!

By the way, from my experience, if you raise big on flop and your opponent bets out small on Turn, they must have something really big and just tries to milk you for a bit more. So I would definitely put him on 10 X on Turn. But I can't say your re-raise on Turn is wrong as your are just splitting the pots. And of course his luck is disgusting.

Yet I think it is funny that your opponent only calls your river bet. The only thing that can beat him is 88 and you obviously don't have it (by betting only $100 on river). I would have reraised all in. So consider yourself lucky because he didn't do so and possibly sucked you out for more!

Sorry I overlooked that part.
Well again the original poster can consider himself lucky because he can't lose another $3000 in chips in this pot.

Hm... then why didn't OP push on Turn if he only has $45 left?

Well, you can look on the bright side - the K4 guy didn't win it.

Just now I was in a S&G tournament.
The first hand 3 guys went all in. KK, AA, K6.
flopped a 6, Turn 6.

I`ve not been playing for a while because of other intrestes, but

...I don`t see the OP as a bad beat.

You limp preflop, so does he.

You both hit set on flop, so I doubt if anyone is going to fold to any raise at this stage - you can only be behind pocket 108 or pocket 8`s.

On the turn you are both sitting with the same FH, so the only way either one of you can win is with a 3 outer.

The other guy got lucky, hit his 3 outer.

Without seeing the hand history when U held AA it looks like a bad beat and if u got all your money in preflop then it was a bad beat. If you got your money in on the flop u were way behind.

Good luck with whatever you do.

To me "That's Poker". You can't tell me that you haven't been in the other player's shoes and pulled out the winner on the river. The only thing you can do it just go on to your next game. Don't let one hand cause you to quit playing. It's happened to all of us. But, Good Luck in whatever you decide to do.

That pot was big enough to push on the turn, why would you want to check raise him again? Lucky enough to get away with it on the flop let alone trying it again on the turn. get over it, learn from your mistake/bad beat, and keep playing. It's all part of the game.
