:D

anyway, river is a standard fold seeing as you're beating nothing but a bluff, and there's simply no way is he bluffing often enough to make calling profitable here (and raising is just spewing chips, obviously).

I think you missed a bet on the turn.
You bet the flop representing you hit something and then you check the turn when the 2 hit. The 2 is most likely a meaningless card that didnt help your opponent and I think another stab here would've really put pressure on your opponent who hasnt shown any real strength.

In your hand, I wouldve called the flop. Your opponent could have a number of hands, but I wouldve called for information purposes.

ETA: Correction. Fold your hand. Your opponent is BB and saw a freeflop, he could have a lot of hands that'll have you beat. Fold.

Did it occur to that your opponent's line looks exactly like a flush draw that hit? Taking advantage of the bluff card is usually better when you think it's pretty certain it didn't hit your opponent. I wouldn't do anything fancy here. It will work sometimes, but risk outweighs the reward in my view, so just fold.

I actually did put him on a flush draw, I guess I was just hoping it was weak or hoping he'd bluff at it so I could come over the top, which is exactly what I did.

Emperor IX: raises 360 to 600
307joe: folds
Emperor IX collected 810 from pot
Emperor IX: doesn't show hand

yeah even though you already said your results, I don't think there is any just calling this bet. Your hand is not good enough to call really and your not getting pot odds, so in this position I think you really have no choice but to raise or fold, because he still could have hit that flop and be worried about the flush himself, if thats the case you'll lose for sure if you just call.
