OK here is the setup im in a 27 player 90ftp buy in satalite to midninght madness @ fulltilt.
Im @ the finnal table and there is me and 4 vilans left. all the players have a chip stack around 7-8k, they blinds are @ 250/500

I get pocket Sevens i raise to a 1000(a now its small but its a tight table) every one folds exept the guy in the small blinds, he re-raises to 3500 and i call . Every one is playing tight exept the vilan in the SB, he is playing super aggresive/maniac style.

couple a hands ago i haved 710 in the big blind against the maniac and the board hit 7-10-Q(i bet he calls) and they turn a 2 all hearts the maniac whent all in i fold coz i didint have a heart, He shows his hand a Q9 of diamonds.

As played, I call this. You're just too committed to fold. Half of your chips are in there. Also, this is a pretty good flop for you, since there's no paint cards on it.

Also, I shove over him preflop, if you're going to play this. You'd like for him to be able to fold preflop (although I doubt this will happen).

i would also push this preflop. since you committed yourself w/ that call, i guess you have to shove any flop... i push preflop to avoid those decisions and keep the initiative. medium pocket pair on a 5 handed table, the nuts

I agree. I would have came over the top all in preflop.

However, in this situation, i would want to believe your 7's are the best hand. Thing is, I could see a player like him calling preflop with, say, King 8, A10, or similar, so he probably is moving all in with any hit pair on the flop. Therefore, with about 4,000 chips left if you fold, I would probably fold the flop all in.... given the situation at hand... and try to recoup in the upcoming hands

i agree that against most players i shut of pushed all in preflop but his maniac style meant he put alot of chips in preflop and then folded after they flop,so i cut of won reagardless of the flop.
And yes i made the call and he had big slick,a big shocker since i put him one a K5/A5/Q5 or low suited conectors.
I won the hand end then the tourney.
