That is him seeing you bet 400 into a 2500 pot and probably thinking your full of it, either that or he is tired or he had to go.....

Quite probably the explanation for this.

Also, this is heads-up so almost anything goes. The only part of the villain's play that I'd really fault is pre-flop: I don't mind raising as part of a balanced strategy, but it should've been a lot more than a min-raise (especially since they're out of position after the flop).

The flop play is OK - you don't necessarily have to have hit that flop to be betting it and you'll be expected to fold a lot of hands to a check-shove.

It's difficult to tell without reads, but I can't help but feel that maybe villain would've had a hard time shoving if you had've made a bigger flop bet?
