Villain's fairly aggressive; can't remember his stats though since he's busted since this hand. I guess my check was to induce a bluff, but now his bet has me second guessing my hand

I've been pretty tag as well.

Besides A9 hearts, I have a tough time putting him on a 9 here. Would he limp Q10 or QJ in EP? Hard to put him on AK either. Have to believe he'd raise flop with a set or 2 pair since it's draw heavy. Guess QJ is the only hand I'm concerned about.

I think you should probably call here.

Really I agree with everything skold has said.....just make a simple call don't raise or anything.

i agree with your decision to lay it down. The chances he has a nine is probably slim, but there is always that chance. this should teach you to raise with two pair hard and early if there is a chance of straight or flush draw

ChuckTs didn't say he folded. If the chances are slim he has a 9, why would he not call a bet on which he is getting over 2.5 to 1?

I think my biggest problem (or fear rather) here is my stack if I call + lose. I'll put myself in a very crappy situation should I lose, and I think that's what I was afraid of.

Anyways, folding and calling are the only options here as raising will fold out everything but hands we have beat unless he's picked up some weird smaller 2 pair.

I end up calling, villain shows K8h and I R winnar.
