No way you can check behind on the turn. This river though I think you have to fold barring any reads that indicate this player as extremely aggressive and liking to bluff. But even then, the 2 of clubs beats you.

a bit early in the tournament for reads. He's aggressive but hasn't been caught bluffing yet.

I do agree the turn check is kind of bad. I hate it as soon as the river card appeared.

Woulda bet 300-350 on flop, and fired 1k or so on turn had the flop bet been called. Doubt opponent had a king in that spot or the ace of clubs. Sounds like you'd had some time with these guys during the tourney. Overall, how'd you do?

This was hand 18. Before that I've been nicely TAG. Played 2 hands, won 2 hands. First one with a c-bet and second preflop raising limpers from the BB.

He has seen 6 flops so far, none with too much money in them, all from late position or the blinds. Won 2 hands, one ATo from CO where he called a raise, bet A23 flop and checked turn and river. The other from CO also, calling a raise, checking flop, betting turn.

Results: I was bluffed out of this hand by AQ so club... Don't think I could decently call this river bet, but that really made me think I bet wrong on flop and/or turn.

At least I got the satisfaction to be the one who kicked him out of the tournament later on.
