in a turbo ko tourney? hell no. maybe in a big tourney where blinds only go up once an hour, but that's a laydown only pros will make. you might as well go home if you wanna fold it there. play to win

I think I call this.

- Shortstack shove, suggests he is panicky.

-You've got one of the better starting hands in holdem.

-You can afford it at this point.

Granted you are likely to be in a race, but if he had a real hand wouldn't he play it more for value? You have a hand that can stand up to most hands so I think I call this.

I do disagree it is an easy call, I think it is anything but. I also think if I am getting involved in a pot this size I want to try to isolate and re-shove all-in.

There are a lot of factors in this hand that look very dangerous. I am not familiar with turbo KO tournies having never played in one, so maybe this advice is way too weak for them so I apologise in advance if that is the case.

A couple of issues first. The original raiser and re-raiser are still in the pot to act behind. That would not make me feel very comfy, especially as the raiser has the chip lead. Not only that but to re-raise the re-raiser had to stick in 1/3rd of his chips, which makes me feel it is not with junk. In addition, the short stack does indeed shove but his M is currently around 13, or in the yellow zone, with an effective M of around 11, so I wouldn't put him on anything average at all either.

While it may look cheap just now, with action possible behind you I think a fold is not bad here. A raise to isolate is dangerous but with lots of chips in there it is an attractive option. Beware though of the nice pot odds that would then be offered to the re-raiser and the danger of the big stack.

Again, this post may apply more to slower tournies if KO turbo nutjob fests are donkathons.;)

Insta call. Yes, your up against a pair and your less than 50/50, but pattayaKid can't fold so you're getting great odds. It's not always about being ahead.

I don't think you should call, I think you should be pushing this all in. This would most likely isolate the two shorter stacks against you so you cannot be eliminated.

A raise, then reraise, and an allin would suggest a big pocket pair. Correct fold under those conditions and no history. Highly doubt this tourney attracts many donkeys. It was still early so little damage by folding
